Ehsa

From Clash City

Clash City was built in an area of swampland that was notably absent from prior human habitation. The natives referred to this swamp as Ehsa, or Black Ash, after a giant specimen of Fraxinus nigra growing on an island at the mouth of the river. The tree has long since been cut down, but the influence that sustained it, and kept the local tribes from settling in the swampland, has not. It is unclear exactly that influence is; some think a Wyrm-caern, others think a powerful Inanimae, others suspect it may have been an Earthbound. Regardless, those that know of it sometimes blame it for the problems endemic to Clash City. A simpler explanation would be that Clash City sucks.
